AIP 2022 Presiding Practicum - 1st Session

December 9, 2022 - December 11, 2022

The American Institute of Parliamentarians will offer the first Presiding Practicum experience online from December 9-11, 2022. This immersive practicum will focus on both the art and science of presiding.

Attendees will not only experience in-depth practical presiding scenarios but will also participate in plenary sessions that will focus on the following:

The Value of Presiding Skills
Presiding Philosophy
Finding Your Cadence
Conflict Management/Resolution
Script Writing

The Presiding Practicum is a cohort program that will allow participants to practice presiding in a safe learning environment. The cohorts will be small, intimate groups, so participation is limited to the first thirty (30) registrants.

The proposed agenda is below:

Day 1 – 6:30 pm CT start time
